We are all eagerly awaiting Sony Ericsson’s upcoming Windows Mobile 6.1 flagship device, the XPERIA X1. We got some information about the device a few days ago, when Sony Ericsson released the second version of the white paper, that details the specifications of the device. Some new minor details surfaced on the device today as well.
Sony Ericsson updated the official XPERIA X1 site, which now shows this image. The new color you see there, is called ‘Steel Silver’. Aside from the new color, Sony Ericsson has made a few more minor changes to the device’s appearance. Notably, there is now ‘XPERIA’ branding under the screen. Also, button to activate the ‘panel’ interface has changed. It is not known what, if any, software changes have been made to the device.
The Sony Ericsson XPERIA X1 has some serious features that will make it a winner. These features include Windows Mobile 6.1, a 3.2 mega pixel camera, a custom interface, slide out keyboard, and of course WiFi and 3G to keep you connected. The device is rumored to be launching in September, although nothing has been confirmed yet.
One of the most interesting and eagerly waited model of the year, Sony Ericsson XPERIA X1 has gone another update and this is supposed to be third update. Sony Ericsson had updated the white paper of XPERIA few days back and confirmed that XPERIA will ship with 256 MB SDRAM.
