We are all eagerly awaiting Sony Ericsson’s upcoming Windows Mobile 6.1 flagship device, the XPERIA X1. We got some information about the device a few days ago, when Sony Ericsson released the second version of the white paper, that details the specifications of the device. Some new minor details surfaced on the device today as well.

Sony Ericsson updated the official XPERIA X1 site, which now shows this image. The new color you see there, is called ‘Steel Silver’. Aside from the new color, Sony Ericsson has made a few more minor changes to the device’s appearance. Notably, there is now ‘XPERIA’ branding under the screen. Also, button to activate the ‘panel’ interface has changed. It is not known what, if any, software changes have been made to the device.

The Sony Ericsson XPERIA X1 has some serious features that will make it a winner. These features include Windows Mobile 6.1, a 3.2 mega pixel camera, a custom interface, slide out keyboard, and of course WiFi and 3G to keep you connected. The device is rumored to be launching in September, although nothing has been confirmed yet.

One of the most interesting and eagerly waited model of the year, Sony Ericsson XPERIA X1 has gone another update and this is supposed to be third update. Sony Ericsson had updated the white paper of XPERIA few days back and confirmed that XPERIA will ship with 256 MB SDRAM. There is also improvement in battery performance and also XPERIA will now have another color- Steel Silver. Below are some of the new pictures from Sony Ericsson website. Sony Ericsson has released the second version of the white paper detailing the XPERIA X1. The white paper does not have very many changes from last time, but there are a couple of very interesting changes. These interesting changes include revealing there are two versions of the X1, also it details frequency bands the device will use.

Yes there are two versions. The X1a, and the X1i. We of course know what that ‘a’ means. This device is on its way to AT&T, it will support AT&T’s HSPA network, and is quad band GSM for world wide use. This device has a few changes, such as the inability to encode h.264 videos, and also the ability to only record videos at QVGA resolution.

The X1i will be what the rest of the world see. This device is also quad band GSM, but it changes up the 3G frequencies to include the 900MHz band, which is now being used for HSPA. Each device has very respectable battery life, with 10 hours of GSM talk time and 6.5 hours of UMTS talk time. Sorry T-Mobile, but support for band IV is no where to be found. There will be no 3G love from Sony Ericsson this time for you.

PhoneMag来自Mobilvilog的消息，SE-Xperia X1的真机图被爆出，并且确认肯定运行Windows Mobile 6.1，而不是先传说的Windows Mobile 6.5．在这些曝光图中除了有大家关心的系统版本还有就是其他的一些图解。Xperia X1采用了Qualcomm 7200A CPU,运行速度528MHz,128M RAM,1500毫安的电池,相机采用3.2-megapixel、分辨率高达800*480。

刚刚去PhoneMag逛,看见PhoneMag 15日发布的日志。和传言一样。虽然可能没有Apple的iphone那样概念出众。但SE-PSPhone完全是iphone之后国际厂商给我们送的另一份大礼。Sony Magazine曝光了SE-PSPhone的部分参数。从这次公布的图片来看,和前不久网友的假想图倒有几分的相似,只不过加上了中规中矩的键盘，而且布局的鲜明会让消费者对他“一见钟情”。就算这一切都是一个猜想。那就让我们继续猜想下去吧。就像期待iphone一样期待Psphone.

A PSP-style gaming cellphone from Sony is one of those perennial rumors you generally see rolled-out in naff “the year ahead” prediction features, but this time around it’s Sony Magazine itself that’s dropping hints about the manufacturer’s mobile plans. According to the article, the “PSP-Style Phone” could be in shops as early as February.

While admitting that the idea might have merit, Sony has continuously denied that a PSP-based gaming cellphone is in development; in fact, Sony Ericsson VP Merran Wrigley told Brighthand’s Ed Hardy that the company doesn’t believe that “given the current state of mobile technology it would be able to create a phone worthy of the PlayStation brand”.

As SEfanatics point out, we’re already halfway through February, so if Sony have anything up their sleeves they’d better whip it out soon.

由于上警校没有时间给手机更新,放寒假回家发现手机貌似又新增加了更新。所以再次对爱机进行下升级。希望大家更新时要注意提前准备好。

软件准备：需要去SonyEricsson官网下载更新程序,点此进入下载页面（貌似不支持Win2003系统）。K790c的驱动一定要先装好。尤其那个Flash的驱动（没有这个驱动不能进行升级）。

硬件准备：关机，然后取出SIM卡（必须取出）和M2卡（M2卡不取出会造成开机格式化的问题）。

PS:这次更新只提供了K790普通版本和珍藏版最新的R8BA024版本，定制机暂时未提供升级版本，目前仍然是R1JC002，而K800必须通过刷机才能升级到此版本，K790C的R6BC002固件仍没有推出。JAVA版本由7.4升到7.7,相机版本还是2.5。拍照速度明显有很大改善。图片读取速度也快了不少。

最重点的步骤就是USB插入时一定要和按C键是同步的。如果你同时按下时手机还是处于关机状态的情况下证明你成功了，如果它开机说明你按的不同步。切记一定要同步，插USB和按C键是同步的。提示松开再松开。
